This week's most inspiring stories!

A selection of inspirational and motivational Walking Home For Christmas plans!

1. Didi & Truffle

Didi Briggs from Norwich, Norfolk will be taking part in a rather unusual way this year. Rather than walking herself, her lovely Springer Spaniel Truffle will be walking instead! Whilst working on three different farms in North Norfolk this December, Truffle will be wearing a pedometer to count her steps. Didi has set up an online fundraising page where she is hosting a sweepstake to guess the number of miles that Truffle covers in total. They have already raised over £440 for wounded ex-servicemen and women. Please click here to support Didi and Truffle!

2. Simon Johnson

Long-standing supporter of the charity and ex-serviceman himself, Simon, is hosting 2 mighty Walking Home For Christmas challenges. Not only is he walking '60k in a day' on 10th December, but he has inspired many to take part in the '10-10-10' challenge - encouraging people from the UK, Europe and further afield to walk 10km starting at 10am on 10th December. 3. Matthew Cope

Matthew from Llwyndafydd, Wales is walking 18 miles on 16th December. Matthew was medically discharged from the Royal Navy after a lengthy battle with anxiety and depression and found himself unable to work or support his family. It was WWTW that funded his recovery. He's walking this year to ensure that others like him get the support they need too. Click here to read Matthew's whole story!
