Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded is a leading organisation in the military charity sector. With programmes supporting employment, education and training, mental health and criminal justice; we provide a holistic approach to support vulnerable veterans to independence.

In 2015 we opened our first WWTW hub in Manchester. The hub comprises of an office with an attached four bed residence to provide accommodation to service users. Building on this success, we are soon to open our second hub in Gateshead.

Working in conjunction with colleagues from the Manchester hub, WWTW HQ and our office in London, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead in the development and delivery of a successful North East hub. You must be a confident and self-motivated individual with the ability to work largely autonomously. A passion for supporting ex-servicemen and women is a must.

Taking ownership of our charity strategy in the region, you will be developing and delivering on external partnerships, providing leadership for your team and forging a new pathway for the veterans in your care. If you would thrive with this responsibility and are able to stay calm under pressure and often tight deadlines, we would like to hear from you.
